I graduated from Armed Forces Medical College in India.
After completing a combined Internal Medicine and pediatrics residency at Hurley Medical Center, Flint MI, I received extensive training at the University of North Carolina in Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. I am currently liscenced in the state of North Carolina.
I have participated in post graduate research projects under NIH funded research program in Immunology resulting in several publications in molecular mechanisms in autoimmune diseases. I have also published research articles in nuclear medicine, studying cerebral blood flow in various diseases using SPECT imaging, from University of Texas in Dallas as a research fellow. I have been in clinical practice in Sanford, NC since 1997.
I am board certified in Internal medicine and Pediatrics and honored as a fellow of American College of Physicians and Fellow of American College of Pediatrics. I am trained in Hyperbaric medicine, wound management, opiate and alcohol addiction treatment, cosmetic laser and esthetic injections. I am certified with FMCSA to perform DOT medical certification and maintain a chain of custody drug testing facility.
I have served as principle investigator in several industry sponsored clinical studies.
I am professionally affiliated with Central Carolina Hospital as an active staff member, physician advisor and Utilization review officer. I am also serving as a director of, a local hospice care facility.
I am a co-founder of Nubiopharma, LLC. Our company has submitted two patents and has recieved FDA orphan designation for the use of oral suspension of celecoxib in juvenile idipathic arthritis to fulfill an unmet need, and also is actively developing other preperation for use in children.
